Exploration of a historic home in Sherwood, New York uncovered one of the largest collections of Women’s Rights posters in the United States. As the community sought to properly care for this national treasure, the development of a strategic plan clarified that the building needed more space to preserve and showcase the collection. This project was designed in order to increase awareness and donations, leading to the preservation of this national treasure. This piece led to significant donations, including a national grant — and the ribbon cutting for the newly restored home is scheduled for late 2019.
